Working in the capacity of Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata since September 2010.
Past professional attachments:
Worked as Assistant Professor in the ECE department at Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, West Bengal, 2008-2010.
Education:
· Graduated (B.Tech) in 2005 from ECE department, Kalyani Government Engineering Collage.
· Qualified GATE in 2006 and got admission in M.Tech program at NIT Durgapur.
· Masters (M.Tech) in 2008 from Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, NIT Durgapur.
· Earned PhD in 2018 in the field of Optics and Photonic Crystal from the Jadavpur University under the supervision of Prof. Chayanika Bose
· Specialization: Photonics, Optics
· Teaching Interests: Electromagnetism, Microwave Engineering, Antenna, Photonic Integrated Circuit, Analog Electronic Circuits, Circuit Theory, Solid State Electron Devices.
· Advanced Teaching Interests:In this modern era, AI-ML and Natural Language Processing are growing rapidly. These tools can provide highly optimised design solutions for many engineering problems. It is extremely necessary to learn applications of these tools as an integral part of each subject for more insightful understanding and for solving real-life problems. It is the future! I love to share, with my students, the experiences in all those engineering fields I have explored with AI-ML and NLP.
